I spent 6 months researching VW Campervans to the point where there was often too much information to process. I then took the opportunity to visit Paul in December at his workshop to view one of his vans. It was a pleasure to spend a couple of hours with someone who answered your questions, practically demonstrated things, but equally got out of your way to explore the build too.
I purchased the van and picked it up with partner in the first week of January. Paul was available throughout the process (and still is) to answer all of those questions that may not be big to him, but make a huge difference to a first-time van buyer (blinds, gas cylinder valves, toppers etc) Paul has a great knack for carefully ensuring that your enquiries are treated with both his attention and respect.
If you are thinking about buying a future van, then I highly recommend a conversation and visit to Paul’s workshop. A great asset to the Campervan landscape and a person who does what he says for his customers (both during and after the purchase).

We had a very limited knowledge of campervans but having gone to meet Paul at MLC we felt very comfortable straight away and knew that we would purchase from MLC, it was just a case of choosing which van! We found Paul very genuine and straightforward to deal with, and no pressure selling, just good knowledge. Customer service is excellent and Paul kept us updated with good communication during the initial buying and fit out and has remained highly helpful since, going above and beyond. The best experience completing our camper dream with MLC. From the very start of our journey through to collection, we were advised and well informed about all the different options but at no point pushed into anything. Always on hand to answer any stupid question we asked and guided us through the whole process like a dream. Paul and MLC are amazing, whether you are a seasoned camper or if you are just starting on your camper journey then I couldn’t reccomend them highly enough. 5 stars just doesn’t do justice. Wow! We are so happy with our new Nellie. Paul was easy to communicate with and very responsive. He took on board our requests and definitely delivered. (Awning, solar, heater, fridge storage cupboard and single passenger seat). Van was ready on time and Paul took as long as we wanted explaining the van at handover. We have had our Moonlight Campervan for a month now and couldn’t be more pleased with it or the service we have had from Paul, every question answered promptly and a minor problem we had was fixed immediately. I thoroughly recommend Moonlight Campers to anyone considering getting a van; from the pre consultation to the conversion and afterwards – if you’re treated like I have been then you will be extremely well looked after! I first spoke to Paul when I had very little knowledge about conversions or van specs, we had a long phone call where he was very helpful and I really got the sense that he was knowledgeable and confident with his craft. He wasn’t trying to push a sale, just gave me lots of helpful advice. I then decided to ask Paul to source me a base van to convert; by this time I was quite specific about what I wanted, specs wise, and he came up trumps! I then visited the workshop where we spent quite some time going through everything, making sure that the conversion included everything to suit my needs. When I came to collect the converted van, Paul again spent plenty of time going through everything with me and making sure that I was happy and understood all of the gadgets. The conversion itself is perfect, I’ve only had it a week but it’s been used a lot and it’s great! This is definitely a 5* review!

From start to finish we couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Paul at Moonlight Campers. He worked within our budget and went out of his way to meet our specific requirements around colour and design.

He kept us updated at all times from the moment we made contact with him to the moment we picked up our shiny new campervan! And the aftercare has been second to none too – when we’ve had questions (because we’re new to campervaning!)

From start to finish, we’ve been thoroughly impressed with Paul and Moonlight Campers. Despite being a used van, the overall condition of the van is excellent. And the interior design is thoroughly thought through.

After several years of dithering, we finally took the plunge and decided to buy a VW Campervan. Our only regret is that we waited so long! In our investigations we ran across Paul at Moonlight Campervans who could not possibly have been more helpful. He answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly and the work carried out on our conversion was outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he has supported us every step of the way.
